How long do the treatments take? The time taken depends on the size of the area being treated.

Ellipse treatment only works on hair in the growth phase.. This means that three to six sessions at intervals of 1 to 2 months may be required before all hair is removed.

To get the most out of the Ellipse treatment, other hair removal methods (other than shaving) should be avoided for a month before sessions begin. There are virtually no side effects but the treated area is sensitive to sun and should be protected with a good sun block, at least factor 30+, for the first few weeks following completed treatment.
